Product details

Curious yet reserved, the cute marmots whisk you away to the centre of the Grisons mountains. The lovely motif was created by designer Nicole Wyss and brings the magic of alpine encounters to your table. A fondue pot with personality - playful, warm and very close to nature.

Nature meets Swiss craftsmanship. Each caquelon is made by hand in the ceramics factory in Rheinfelden - small variations in shape, design or glaze are an expression of genuine craftsmanship. The high-quality ceramic is carefully crafted and impresses with its natural character.

Enjoy together. With a capacity of 2.6 litres, the caquelon is ideal for cosy gatherings of 4-6 people. Whether it's a family evening or a group of guests - the Murmeli caquelon brings mountain romance into every home.

Ingredients and instructions for use

Instructions for use
Heat the caquelon with the cheese mixture and all the ingredients on a medium heat for approx. 5 minutes. Increase the temperature and bring to the boil, stirring constantly. When the first bubbles appear, the cheese has melted and can be placed on the table. To prevent the fondue from burning, we recommend using an aluminium rondelle. This is placed between the caquelon and the rechaud to achieve even heat distribution and to protect the caquelon. Reduce the power of the rechaud burner to a medium level to prevent the cheese from burning. After use, leave the caquelon filled with cold water for a short time to make it easier to remove cheese residues. The caquelon can then be easily cleaned with washing-up liquid and a brush. The caquelon is not dishwasher-safe. Small hairline cracks in the glaze ensure that the caquelon is highly resistant to thermal shock. With light-coloured glazes, the hairline cracks are more visible and become more pronounced after repeated use. When cooking fondue, please do not tap the edge of the ladle. You should also ensure that the fork is not tapped on the edge while eating, as otherwise the glaze or clay may crack.
