The COLORI®+ cheese knife set from Kuhn Rikon, consisting of

  • Mini cleaver with sharp blade for safely cutting hard or mature cheese and tasty dried fruit.
  • Cheese fork with serrated blade for cutting baguettes and soft cheeses and skewering delicatessen products.
  • Soft cheese knife with holes prevents sticking when cutting medium-soft cheeses such as raclette. Also perfect for fresh fruit

have a rustproof, double-edged blade made of Japanese stainless steel that has been moulded precisely for its special area of use.

The blade is heated in an annealing furnace at over 1000°C. This not only hardens the steel, but also makes it flexible and corrosion-resistant. The blade is then polished and sharpened by hand on both sides. Each individual knife is given its final sharpening by a specialised blade grinder, an extremely skilled craftsman who has acquired the art of blade sharpening over a long period of time. The non-slip handle and blade guard ensure even greater safety.
