The COLORI+ collection – highly efficient and wonderfully colorful!

In 2014, the Kuhn Rikon COLORI®+ knife line was launched as an evolution of the Colori 1 knives. The non-slip handle, developed in Switzerland, provides maximum safety and comfort.

The blades of the COLORI®+ knives are heated in a tempering oven at over 1000°C. This process not only hardens the steel but also makes it flexible and corrosion-resistant. Afterward, the blade is polished and hand-ground on both sides. Each individual knife receives its final sharpening from a specialized blade sharpener, a highly skilled craftsman who has mastered the art of knife sharpening over many years. In addition to extensive practice and precision, the sharpening angle is crucial for the quality of the knife: With a sharp blade angle of 14° per side (double bevel), the COLORI+ knives remain ultra-sharp for a long time and are excellent for all kitchen prep tasks, such as chopping vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, garlic, onions, etc.), peeling an apple, or cutting meat. The double bevel allows the knife to glide effortlessly and accurately through food. The non-slip handle and blade guard provide even more safety.

In addition to the careful manufacturing process, each knife in the COLORI®+ collection undergoes strict quality control.
