The Kaibrite grain mill is an impressive combination of robustness and functionality that is specially tailored to the requirements of grain processing and beer brewing. The first-class material of the mill is characterised by its long-lasting durability. The roller itself, as well as the hopper, are made of high-quality cold-rolled stainless steel, which ensures efficient and even grinding performance and contributes to the mill's durability and stability. The grinding box is made of aluminium. Thanks to the two adjustable rollers, the grain mill can not only grind grains efficiently, but also gently remove the husk, which is particularly advantageous when brewing beer. The built-in knurling with a fineness of 12 TPI (threads per inch) is designed to ensure that the grain is optimally drawn over the rollers, leaving the majority of the grain intact, which in turn creates a high-quality filter bed for the brewing process. The precise adjustment of the grinding gap is another highlight of this mill. The main gap is fixed at 0.15 cm, while the second gap is fully adjustable from 0 to 0.165 cm. With a maximum throughput rate of 3.6 kg per minute and a hopper volume of up to 30 kg of grain, this mill offers both efficiency and capacity. The drum body consists of an aluminium frame and three steel drums mounted on oil-impregnated bronze bushes. The drive shaft and all other shafts are seamlessly integrated into the drum, which can be operated both clockwise and anti-clockwise. Although the grain mill is supplied with a hand crank, it is also compatible with an electric drill. The drill can be easily attached to facilitate the grinding process. No additional accessories are required. The gap width can be easily adjusted up to 0.178 cm using the stainless steel knurled knob.
