The Tim Mälzer paring knife is a relatively small kitchen knife with a blade length of 6.5 cm. The curved blade is ideal for cleaning or peeling onions or garlic. The paring knife is also suitable for peeling fruits like apples without losing too much flesh. The Kai knives from the Shun Premier series are made of 32 layers of corrosion-resistant Damascus steel and feature a hand-finished hammered surface.
