With this premium series, the high-quality material properties of the renowned Shun Classic series are combined with a completely new, impressive overall appearance. The blade is divided into three different textures: from the spine of the blade to the middle, a hammered surface known as Tsuchime has been incorporated. Following this texture is a fine matte Damascus grain, typical of Shun. The blade is finished with a high-gloss polished precision edge. The intricately crafted blade is paired with a medium brown, patterned Pakkawood handle. The particularly hard and durable core steel of the blade ensures immense sharpness and long-lasting edge retention.
