The chef's knife is the classic among kitchen knives and is an essential tool in every kitchen. It can be used as a universal knife for cleaning, peeling, or chopping: the slender tip makes it easy to peel vegetables, while the long blade is particularly suited for preparing fish and meat. Chef's knives typically have a blade length of 20 cm. However, there are also significantly shorter blades (starting from 14 cm) as well as longer ones (over 30 cm) with the chef's knife geometry. Due to its elegant design, special material properties, and a technically complex manufacturing process, this knife series belongs to the absolute luxury class. The highly polished blades feature an artistically designed, radiating pattern of Damascus layers. This appearance, combined with the gray-black marbled handle, creates an impressive overall look. The blades of the series are made from two different types of steel, which are combined to form a 72-layer Damascus steel. The intricate layering of the two types of steel results in a blade with exceptionally durable cutting performance. The series was awarded the German Design Award 2017 Special Mention.
