Seki Magoroku Redwood knife including a practical blade guard. The knives in the Redwood series are made from robust stainless steel featuring typical Japanese characteristics. The series includes blades that are both single and double-edged, with a high-gloss polished finish.

The design combines a minimalist basic shape with traditional Japanese aesthetics. The name Redwood comes from the use of redwood Pakkawood, from which the handle is crafted. The resin-treated Pakkawood is particularly durable and moisture-resistant.

The blades of the Seki Magoroku Redwood knives are made from Carbon 1K6 stainless steel with a hardness of 58 (±1) HRC. The knife blades offer long-lasting edge retention and excellent sharpness, making them versatile for various uses.

The handle, shaped in a traditional chestnut form, is made from Pakkawood. The handle tapers towards the blade, providing a comfortable grip. The handle and blade are securely connected with a glossy black plastic bolster. The knives have a relatively lightweight.
