2. The surface on which the whetstone is placed must not move. The whetstone must always be wet when sharpening.
3. Hold the surface of the knife to be sharpened at an angle of 15-30° and move it diagonally back and forth across the surface of the sharpener. Then turn the knife over.
4. Clean the surface of the sharpening stone after use with a soft brush and let it dry in a well-ventilated room. Clean the knife with a sponge and water and let it dry.

Caution: Do not use a whetstone to sharpen serrated knife blades or scissors.
