The hexagon design is created through a laser etching process to provide both stainless steel and a non-stick coating. With a patented laser-etched hexagon design and a three-layer construction, HexClad is PFOA-free, oven-safe up to 500 degrees, and suitable for stovetops as well as induction ranges. It features Stay-Cool handles for a proper cooking wok experience. To create a durable non-stick wok, a three-layer construction is essential. The first and third layers are made of stainless steel for robust non-stick properties, while aluminum in between conducts even heat distribution. The HexClad 14" large wok and lid are dishwasher safe and can be cleaned with scouring or steel wool pads, as they are scratch-resistant and do not wear down with the use of metal utensils.
