The Gütermann Maraflex sewing thread is an elastic quality thread specifically designed for sewing stretch fabrics. With a seam stretch of up to 80%, it allows for the creation of flexible and shape-retaining seams that adapt to any movement. This sewing thread is ideal for lightweight to medium-weight knits and elastic woven fabrics, such as jersey or fabrics with elastane. Maraflex can be easily used with home sewing machines and produces stretchable seams in a straight stitch appearance, without the need for an overlock or coverlock sewing machine. Using Maraflex simplifies sewing round necklines, hem seams, and cuffs, making it easier to create comfortable and fashionable clothing. Additionally, the thread is made with the innovative Micro Core Technology® which provides extra stability and flexibility.
