Product details

Global knives are extremely sharp, lightweight, and perfectly balanced. The blade is made of molybdenum-vanadium steel and is hardened to 56 - 58° Rockwell C. The blades are very sharp. The handle consists of two stainless steel shells filled with sand for perfect balance. This balanced design ensures safe handling and control. The knife is neither blade-heavy nor handle-heavy. The design dates back to 1985 and was created by Professor Komin Yamada. Global is featured in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art shop in New York, MOMA.
