The Finum S 100 tea filter is a practical and versatile product suitable for brewing tea in a pot, cup, mug, or glass. The filter is made from aromatic paper that has no inherent taste and is produced without adhesives and is chlorine-free bleached. It also features a filling flap for easier handling when filling with loose tea. Biodegradable. Biodegradable products are made from materials that are completely broken down by naturally occurring microorganisms into water, carbon dioxide, and biomass. Unlike compostable products, they do not need to decompose within a specific timeframe. The production primarily uses cellulose and fiber products based on sugar cane and palm leaves, as well as products derived from starch plants. According to the definition, it does not matter whether renewable or non-renewable, i.e., fossil resources are used in production. Under real environmental conditions, biodegradable plastics gradually break down into microplastics, which decompose very slowly into their chemical components. Oxo-degradable plastics have also been enriched with additives that break down into microplastic particles when exposed to heat or sunlight, but these are hardly decomposed.
