The Santoku knife is a versatile knife in a traditional Japanese shape, primarily found in the kitchen, and shares similar characteristics with a chef's knife.

The dimples create air pockets that prevent thin and soft slices from sticking to the blade. With the dimpled edge, precise cuts are achieved through accurate guidance.

The blade is made from X 30 Cr 13 steel, which combines excellent mechanical properties with good polishability and chemical resistance.

The handle, made of PPO polyphenylene oxide, is abrasion-resistant and non-slip, ensuring maximum safety while cutting. The seamless connection between the handle and blade ensures absolute hygiene.

The blade, with a hardness of 54° Rockwell (HRC), can be sharpened extremely quickly and easily, which is particularly beneficial for inexperienced sharpeners.
