The Gyuutoo is the Asian variant of the classic chef's knife. Thanks to its slim and extremely sharp blade, it is perfect for slicing and chopping vegetables and meat.

The smooth edge ensures a clean, even cut without fraying. Knives with a smooth edge are used for cutting both hard and soft ingredients.

The blade is made from the alloy X 55 Cr Mo V14. Each individual component serves a specific purpose: chromium for wear resistance, molybdenum for corrosion resistance, and carbon for strength.

The handle made of polyoxymethylene (POM) offers high working strength as well as extreme hardness with relatively low sensitivity to temperature up to about 110°C. It also has good chemical resistance.

A hardness of 56° Rockwell (HRC) is the perfect compromise between long-lasting sharpness and easy re-sharpening.
