Eva Solo Knife block

Tools Design draws inspiration from popular cooking utensils in Nordic cuisine for the Danish brand Eva Solo. Instead of merely refreshing the Scandinavian style, the Danish design team focuses on new materials while maintaining the overall appearance: pots and pans feature a rustic cast iron look but are made with a lightweight aluminum construction and naturally insulating oak wood. Bowls impress with easy-care melamine instead of scratched enamel. The Nordic Kitchen knife block accommodates eight knives and is crafted from a beech wood log that is painted on the outside. To prevent crumbs from accumulating, the slots in the knife block are continuously milled.
