EQ-3 Plus

The Homematic IP Weather Sensor Plus is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and reliably and accurately measures outdoor temperature, humidity, wind speed, brightness, and sunshine duration. Additionally, the weather sensor determines whether it is raining and for how long, as well as the amount of rainfall. The display and evaluation of the weather data can be conveniently accessed through the free Homematic IP app. The weather data can also be used to trigger actions within your smart home. For example, shutters can be raised during strong winds, or an awning can be automatically extended in sunny conditions. The sensor can also provide automatic notifications when it starts to rain. When combined with other Homematic IP devices, countless additional scenarios are possible. Thanks to its independent battery power supply and proven, secure wireless technology, the weather sensor can be installed without the need for additional wiring. The necessary mounting materials and a stainless steel mast approximately 1.6 meters long are included.
