The DuoSharp bench stone is 8" (20.32 cm) long and specifically designed for sharpening hard ceramic knives. It is excellent for use on countertops or workbenches and sharpens a variety of edge types thanks to its larger, wider diamond surface. A base for the bench stone is included as an accessory with the model. The stone features an HC diamond surface with extra-fine grit (9 microns/1,200 mesh) for polishing and smoothing sharp edges after sharpening with a coarser diamond surface, as well as an HC diamond surface with fine grit (25 microns/600 mesh) for edge sharpening.
