At the heart of the high-quality Deluxe Matcha Set "Midori" is the handcrafted matcha bowl, featuring a classic design with its beautiful cream-colored glaze and soft color transitions. The gentle shifts in color provide a lovely contrast to the rich green of the matcha tea, allowing it to shine beautifully. This makes the matcha a visual delight as well. The bowl has a diameter of 11.4 cm and a height of 6.2 cm. With a volume of approximately 210 ml, it offers ample space to whisk the matcha tea into a nice frothy consistency. Each matcha bowl is unique in color and shape, and the handcrafted pieces may vary slightly in color and texture from the photos.

The bamboo whisk, also known as a chasen, is an essential accessory for preparing matcha tea. Before whisking the matcha, the bristles of the whisk should be briefly soaked in warm water to extend their lifespan. When whisking, avoid dragging the whisk across the bottom of the bowl, as parts of the delicate bristles may break off. It features 80 bristles, allowing you to whip the matcha tea into a firm and appealing froth. After use, simply rinse the bamboo whisk with lukewarm water and place it with the bristles facing down on the included whisk holder. The special shape of the holder ensures that the bristles are protected and maintain their shape longer.

The traditional bamboo scoop (chashaku) is used to measure the matcha powder perfectly into the bowl (1 heaping scoop equals 1 g). All parts are made from high-quality ceramic.
