Not suitable for microwave or dishwasher. The bamboo whisk, also known as Chasen, is an essential accessory for preparing Matcha tea. Before whisking the Matcha, the bristles of the whisk should be briefly soaked in warm water to extend their lifespan. When whisking, do not drag the whisk across the bottom of the bowl, as parts of the delicate bristles may break off. It features 80 bristles and allows you to whisk the Matcha tea (green tea) into a firm and appealing foam. After use, simply rinse the bamboo whisk with lukewarm water and place it bristle-side down on the included whisk holder. The special shape of the holder ensures that the bristles are protected and maintain their shape longer.

With the traditional bamboo scoop (Chashaku), the Matcha powder is optimally dosed into the bowl (1 heaping scoop equals 1 g). All parts are made from high-quality ceramics.
