The handcrafted Matcha bowl in a classic design with its beautiful cream-coloured glaze and a transition to sky blue is the centrepiece of the high-quality deluxe Matcha set "Moya" (Japanese for "haze, mist").The gentle transition offers a beautiful contrast to the rich green colour of the Matcha tea and shows it off to its best advantage. The bowl has a diameter of 11.4 cm and a height of 6.2 cm.With a volume of approx. 210 ml, the bowl offers enough space to whip the Matcha tea to a froth.Each Matcha bowl is unique in colour and shape.The handmade individual pieces may differ slightly in colour and structure from the photos.The matcha whisk made of bamboo, also called chasen, is an indispensable accessory for the preparation of matcha tea.Before whipping the matcha, the bristles of the matcha whisk should be soaked briefly in warm water, this increases the service life.When whipping itself, do not pull the whisk over the bottom of the bowl, parts of the delicate bristles could break off.It has 80 bristles and makes it possible to whip the matcha tea (green tea) with a firm and respectable foam.After use, simply rinse the bamboo whisk with lukewarm water and place it on the enclosed whisk holder with the bristles facing downwards.
