The "Nezumi iro" matcha set is skillfully crafted and contains high-quality components. The ceramic matcha bowl is handmade, so no two are the same; slight differences and deviations from the photo are unavoidable. Our handmade ceramic matcha bowl features a beautiful colored glaze with a fine sheen and brown-red accents, making the matcha a visual delight.

The bamboo matcha whisk, also known as a chasen, is an indispensable accessory for preparing matcha tea. Before whisking the matcha, the bristles of the whisk should be soaked briefly in warm water to increase its lifespan. When whisking, avoid dragging the whisk over the bottom of the bowl, as parts of the delicate bristles could break off. It has 80 bristles, allowing you to whisk the matcha tea with a firm and attractive foam.

After use, simply rinse the bamboo whisk with lukewarm water and place it on the enclosed whisk holder with the bristles facing downwards. The special shape of the holder ensures that the bristles are protected and retain their shape for longer. With the traditional bamboo spoon (chashaku), the matcha powder is optimally dosed into the bowl (1 spoonful equals 1g).
