Product details
They reduce the formation of limescale and the overall hardness of drinking water and at the same time protect electrical equipment, e.g. coffee machines, espresso machines, hot and cold drinks machines, steam cookers, combi ovens or ice makers from the formation of limescale deposits. They also improve the taste and aroma of beverages by removing flavour and aroma substances such as chlorine. In addition, they filter water pollutants. Here's how it works: Tap water flows through the cartridge. The primary filter removes solid particles, while the activated carbon removes odours and smells such as chlorine. Carbonates are then removed in an ion exchanger, and the water is treated with activated carbon and filtered. The filter is equipped with a rim to prevent carbonates from being removed from a given amount of water. This part of the water is filtered only by passing activated carbon and a protective filter. The decarbonated water and the water from the bypass mix at the outlet. * For units without steam generator - max. temperature is 95 °C; water hardness: 10d, and the bypass is set to level 3.
