The transparent blue design with ergonomic handle measures 265 x 275 x 110 mm (width x height x depth), making it suitable for refrigerator door storage. Constructed from 60% biobased plastic that is BPA-free and recyclable, the kettle includes a hinged lid with silicone loop and is dishwasher-safe when the Smart Light indicator is removed. The Smart Light LED filter status indicator uses a traffic light system (green, orange, red) to signal when filter replacement is needed.

The Maxtra Pro filter employs four-stage filtration technology: a fine mesh captures mechanical impurities, an ion exchange resin reduces water hardness and removes heavy metals, activated carbon from coconut shells improves taste by reducing chlorine and pesticides, and a final fine mesh filters remaining particles. Each filter processes approximately 150 liters of water or lasts about four weeks, with compatibility across all Brita kettle models including older versions. The kettle filters 1 liter of water in approximately 5 minutes, with a maximum filtered water volume of 1400 ml per cycle.
