Böker Core Professional Santoku with scallops
16.50 cmProduct details
The Santoku is a knife that is becoming increasingly popular in Europe. It features the blade shape of a Japanese all-purpose knife. Its name translates to "three virtues." It is successfully used for meat, fish, and vegetables. Thanks to the wide blade, the Santoku is very easy to handle, and the special grooves that create "air pockets" prevent the cut products from sticking to the blade, allowing them to be sliced very thinly. Overall length is 294 mm, blade length is 165 mm, blade thickness is 1.1 - 2.7 mm, and weight is 160 g. The Core series perfectly combines a timeless classic look with ergonomics and practicality. The solid concave blade is made from chrome-molybdenum-vanadium steel (X50CrMoV15), optimized through a meticulous hand-finishing process that refines its internal structures. The knives are then hardened to a hardness of 58 HRC. To ensure a longer lifespan of the blade and even more precise cutting, the edge is carefully crafted. The guard prevents the hand from slipping onto the blade. Practical and perfectly balanced plastic handles enhance the aesthetic and functional value of the knife. It can also be used without hesitation in professional gastronomy. Especially in the kitchen, hygiene must always meet the highest standards!.
