The complete set includes all the crockery in the collection for everyday use. The set consists of 12 plates, 12 bowls, 6 small bowls, 6 cups and 6 saucers for a complete table setting for 6 people. The clay is first fired at a low temperature and then reactive glazes in different colours are applied to the earthenware, giving it a unique and vibrant relief. The appearance of colour nuances from one piece to another is the result of a skilful combination of firing techniques and the way in which the glaze is applied. The ISLAND collection is inspired by the Faroe Islands, an archipelago off the coast of Denmark in the North Atlantic. Its look is reminiscent of green moors and steep coastal cliffs, where the relief and the play of light on the slightly uneven surface of the elements create an authentic atmosphere that takes us on a journey between land and sea.
