Björn Iceland

This large-capacity mug is as beautiful to look at as it is comfortable to use. The large handle allows for easy gripping without the risk of burning yourself. With a capacity of 40 cl, it is very spacious, and its design is unique.

During production, the clay is first fired at a low temperature before reactive glazes in various colors are applied to the stoneware. This gives the mug a unique, deep relief. The color nuances that occur from one piece to another are the result of a skilled artisanal blend of firing techniques and the way the coating is applied.

The inspiration for the ISLAND collection comes from the Faroe Islands, an archipelago off the coast of Denmark in the North Atlantic. The appearance evokes green heath landscapes and steep coastal cliffs, where reliefs and light play on the slightly bumpy surface of the elements create an authentic atmosphere that allows us to travel between land and sea.
