Björn Genesis

This small cup with its clear design is intended for espresso or ristretto. Its original shape, a hallmark of the collection, along with its small volume, makes it an essential element. After an initial low-temperature firing of the clay, reactive glazes in various colors are applied to the stoneware, giving it a unique and radiant surface. The emergence of color nuances that differ from piece to piece is the result of an artistic interplay of firing techniques and the method of glaze application. The Genesis collection is inspired by journeys between land and sea. In its basalt variant, it features a volcanic brown gradient that evokes the origin of the world and adds a mineral note. Its asymmetrical lines and clear cuts give it character and authenticity.
