Maximum energy efficiency is achieved through the automatic shutdown of the 2300 W heating element upon reaching the boiling point. With just 700 watts, up to 10 liters are quietly kept at a rolling boil or held at approximately 98 °C without the water splashing upwards as it typically does when boiling – it merely bubbles. Depending on the temperature setting, the water can also be kept hot or warm with minimal evaporation. If you want to bring it back to a boil, it takes only a few seconds to a few minutes depending on the contents.
