The classic - the successful shape Arzberg 1382. This Arzberg shape has made history. To this day, the simple and functional design has lost none of its charm. Eighty years ago, Gretsch completed sketch number 1382 in the Arzberg model book with a final pencil stroke: it was a definitive rejection of impractical, ornate tableware and at the same time a clear affirmation of functional, aesthetically pleasing everyday porcelain: the good shape for every day. The shape 1382 is considered one of the absolute classics of modern industrial design and is even found in the Museum of Modern Arts in New York as one of the very few porcelain shapes.
