Air-dried fruit contains many vitamins, has a long shelf life, and tastes great. With a powerful heating element and fan working together, the Arendo food dehydrator gently and evenly dries fruits, vegetables, herbs, as well as fish and meat on five separate levels. Depending on your needs, you can adjust the temperature continuously from 35 to 70 °C. The timer allows for settings from one to 72 hours.
For your health: Up to 97% of vitamins and minerals are retained during the drying process. If you want to enjoy your dried goods without chemical additives, it's best to dry them yourself. Store-bought dried fruits often contain additives like sugar, sulfur dioxide, and flavorings. Naturally, your homemade dried foods are free from such additives.
Each tray has two adjustable heights. For flat-cut fruits, such as apple rings or kiwi slices, the lower height is sufficient: this reduces the volume to be heated, allowing the target temperature to be reached more quickly. Additionally, this saves energy.
