Anchor Lamé is a 12-strand, divisible metallic embroidery thread that is often used in combination with Anchor embroidery floss to create additional shine effects. Anchor Lamé is made from a blend of viscose and metallic polyester and is available in 8-meter skeins. It can be separated into 12 individual strands, depending on the desired intensity in your embroidery. However, Anchor Lamé can also be used on its own and has versatile applications in cross-stitch, free embroidery, and goldwork.
