Alessi Tèo Spoon for Tea Bags

The design of this spoon is based on the natural shape of a curved leaf. This shape uses the material according to the principle of optimal resistance, just like certain leaves with a curved part near the stem that provides strength and support, and a wider, flatter part that catches rainwater.
In the case of "Tèo", the shape takes on a different function: the wider part holds the tea bag, which is attached to the spoon by its thread. During the brewing time, "Tèo" is used to gently move the tea bag around in the hot water. By carefully pulling the thread, the fragile bag can be easily squeezed out between the walls of the handle, which are narrowed to form a funnel.
"Tèo" is made of polished 18/10 stainless steel. Simple in form, function and cleaning.
