The 7-piece pot set by ALESSI contains: A saucepan ø 20 cm, a saucepan with two handles ø 20 cm, a shallow saucepan with two handles ø 24 cm, a saucepan with handle, as well as 3 lids ø 16, 20, 24 cm made of 18/10 stainless steel. The handles are made of 18/10 stainless steel with PVD coating. The magnetic steel base allows the cookware to be used on induction cookers. Designed by Patricia Urquiola, EDO pots are the result of a combination of formal and cultural suggestions. A wealth of references that remind us of the essence of cooking: different ingredients make delicious dishes. EDO refers to the Latin "edere" - meaning "to eat" - but it is also the ancient name of Tokyo, from which the simple and graceful lines of the pots and pans come, which inspired the designer. The design of the Edo series is softened by some formal elements such as the slight recess of the containers or the line of the handles, reminiscent of the ribbons attached to a dress, and becomes a distinctive feature of the entire pot series.
