Alessi Mu

Cutlery set consisting of a table spoon, a table fork, a table knife, a dessert fork, and a teaspoon made of polished stainless steel 18/10. The Japanese architect Toyo Ito continues the design of his object family for the perfect table setting. Joining the poetic porcelain service "KU," introduced in 2006 with its flowing shapes, is now the cutlery "MU," which means "hexagonal" in Japanese. The hexagonal part of the handle is created through a molding process and undergoes a lengthy processing phase with many different steps. The strictness of the narrow, full handle, reminiscent of the chopsticks commonly used in Asia, contrasts with the rounded line of the spoon and knife blade. The table service "MU" includes table knives, forks, and spoons, fruit forks and knives, dessert spoons, cake forks, and small spoons for tea, espresso, and mocha. The series also includes four components of serving cutlery: salad servers, soup ladle, cake server, and serving spoon and fork.
