Alessi dressed

Pots and pans from the Dressed collection were designed by Marcel Wanders. Traditionally, embellishments are placed at important and visible points of an object. In contrast, Wanders positions them in unobtrusive, slightly hidden spots, sometimes even in areas that are typically not seen. One could say that Wanders employs an introverted decoration style. The very name of the collection, Dressed, suggests a decoration designed like a beautiful dress: it is meant to highlight the contents without overshadowing them.
