Dressed was designed by Marcel Wanders. Traditionally, decorations are applied to the important and visible parts of an object. However, Wanders places them in inconspicuous, slightly hidden areas, sometimes even in spots that are not usually seen. One could say that Wanders employs an introverted decoration style. The name of the collection, Dressed, suggests a decoration designed like a beautiful dress: it is meant to emphasize the contents without overshadowing them. The Dressed line includes cutlery, glasses, side plates, a tea and coffee service, a tray, as well as coasters for bottles and glasses.
