Patricia Urquiola, born in 1961 in Oviedo, Spain, studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano under Achille Castiglioni and worked with design luminaries such as Vico Magistretti and Piero Lissoni. Since founding her own studio in 2001, she has been one of the leading voices in the international design scene – known for her balance of tradition, innovation, and artisanal precision.
