ENSÕ by aida features white porcelain crockery that has been reinterpreted with beautifully shaped, purist design. This tableware series was developed in collaboration with the renowned architect and designer Michael Sebber Colfelt from the architecture firm C.F. Möller in Copenhagen. The result is a thoughtfully designed tableware series.

ENSO means circle in Japanese, symbolizing peace, creativity, and elegance. These concepts inspired the award-winning C.F. Moller architects to develop this series in collaboration with aida. The design is highly functional, allowing for many creative ideas for setting the table.

Consisting of: 8 pieces including coffee cups with saucers, dessert plates, dinner/steak plates, and deep plates (soup plates).

Material: Porcelain
Material thickness/weight: Double-fired, making it extremely impact-resistant.
Color/finish: White (super white).
Size/contents: Coffee cups 18 cl with saucer, dessert plate D19 cm, dinner/steak plate D26 cm, soup plate D22 cm.

Special design features of this series include:

• All flat plates have the same height.
• Stacking, combining, and multiple use possibilities, such as:
• The 22 cm plate can be used as a cover for the soup plate.
• The 15 cm plate (saucer) can serve as a cover for soup, muesli, or salad bowls.
• The egg cup can act as a lid for the mug with handle, the thermo mug, and the mug with handle. When not used as a lid, it can hold a tea bag, for example.
• The base shape of the bowls and plates is designed for perfect stacking of plates, cups, and bowls.
• The saucer (15 cm plate) is suitable for all cups in the range, including the espresso cup, mug with handle, and thermo mug.
