ENSÕ by aida: A new interpretation of white porcelain tableware. Beautifully shaped, minimalist design, thoughtfully crafted to be styled in countless ways. This dinnerware series was developed in collaboration with renowned architect and designer Michael Sebber Colfelt from the architectural firm C.F. Möller, Copenhagen. The result is a new, well-conceived design tableware series.

ENSO means circle in Japanese. It is a symbol of peace, creativity, and elegance. These very aspects inspired the award-winning C.F. Moller architects in developing this dinnerware series in collaboration with aida. The design is highly functional and allows for many creative ideas for setting the table.

The special design features of this series include:

• All flat plates have the same height.
• Stackable, combinable, and reusable options, e.g.:
• The plate (22 cm) can be used as a cover/lid for the soup plate.
• The plate (saucer, 15 cm) can serve as a cover/lid for the soup/cereal/salad bowls.
• The egg cup can be used as a lid for the handled cup, the thermos cup, and the mug. When it is no longer needed as a lid, it serves as a holder for the tea bag.
• The base shape of the bowls and plates is designed so that plates, cups, and bowls can be stacked perfectly.
• The saucer (plate, 15 cm) fits as a saucer for all cups in the series (espresso cup, handled cup, thermos cup, and mug).
