AEG Series 9000 tumble dryers detect the moisture level of different textiles thanks to the special sensors of the FibrePro system, allowing for particularly even and time-saving drying of mixed loads. In combination with AbsoluteCare and SensiDry, every fiber is perfectly cared for. Drying down jackets in the air or in conventional dryers takes a long time, and the down must be regularly fluffed to prevent sticking. The 3D scan technology measures the residual moisture even deep in the fabric (up to 5 cm) and automatically adjusts the drying capacity. The drying cycle is not complete until the down inside has dried. The AbsoluteCare system matches temperature and drum movement to the type of fabric being dried, making gentle drying possible for wool, silk, and demanding outdoor clothing. Wool is dried lying flat in the drum without damaging friction, while outdoor clothing is exposed to just enough heat to reactivate the waterproof membrane. By intelligently controlling air flows, moisture is added to synthetic fabrics until cotton textiles are also completely dry, treating the entire load gently and preventing overdrying. Compared to air drying, this means your laundry is 30% less creased and feels softer. Dryers equipped with heat pump technology require only half the temperature for drying, ensuring textiles are never exposed to unnecessarily high temperatures. The fabric is protected, and you save energy thanks to the heat pump and automatic volume control.
