Induction cooking allows you to instantly and very precisely adjust the power from a gentle simmer to maximum heat. Only the bottom of the pot is heated, not the surface of the cooktop. With the eco timer, you can use energy more efficiently: for the last minutes of the cooking process, you can utilize the residual heat of the cooktop. In addition to various cooking zone sizes, this cooktop is also equipped with a roasting cooking zone. This means you can use all your specialty pots and pans to cook like a pro. This cooktop features a power function for when you need high temperatures quickly. For example, you can bring water to a boil very quickly for pasta. OptiHeat Control registers the remaining residual heat for each cooking zone. This way, you can use this residual heat more efficiently and see for your safety which cooking zone is still cooling down. To monitor every cooking process accurately, the cooking timer starts at zero and runs until you stop or reset it.
