    Pan for sauces

Hello everyone I bought the de buyer Mineral B frying pan. I have heard that it is not suitable for tomatoes (because of the acidity) or dairy products, for example. Now I wanted to ask the Community which pans would be good all-rounders for tomatoes or other sauces such as Bolognese or cream sauces, as you usually fry the meat in them and then stir in the sauce. Thank you!

    Dishwasher-safe / dishwasher-safe

If you could install this as a filter, that would be great. As a layman, I'm not entirely clear which types of pans are allowed in the washing machine and which are not.

    WMF Function 4 Advanced

Can you add the WMF Function 4 Advanced saucepans to the shop? They have a stainless steel ring in the lid instead of the silicone lid.

The "Material" category urgently needs to be tidied up

It now also has coatings in it. In addition to the dozens of variations of Allu and steel. For example * Non-stick * Non-stick coating * Teflon belong in the "coating" category. And ebe * Cast aluminium * Forged aluminium * Forged aluminium alloy * Forged aluminium * Forged aluminium with black non-stick coating * Die-cast aluminium * High quality die-cast aluminium * High quality die-cast aluminium And what's the point of plastic handles?

    Römertopf in too many categories

Most are in "pan + saucepan", some in "casserole dish", "baking trays", "bread maker" (even if it isn't one), "storage tins". You can still accept "bread box" because it's labelled as "bread pot". Couldn't you make a separate category for this?

Large cooking pot with good conductive bottom wanted

Hello, I am looking for a high cooking pot with a good conductive base. So far I have two such pots from Cucina & Tavola, but they are a disaster on glass ceramic hobs. Even on the highest setting, the plate always stops because the heat under the base is already very high. But it's almost impossible to bring the water to the boil. Is there a recommendation?

Cast iron frying pan already treated

Cast iron pans usually need to be treated before they have a non-stick function. Rubbing them with oil and baking several very thin layers creates a shiny non-stick layer that works just as well as Teflon. In English, this is called "seasoning". This is one of the reasons why cast-iron pans should not be washed with soap. I am looking for a cast iron frying pan that has already been treated with oil and pre-sealed! My last attempt to treat a pan myself failed miserably. I'm happy for any tips, but I'm not looking for Teflon pans or pans coated in any other way. Merci!

    Pan lid: Durcmesser/Size

Can we assume that the diameter of the base also corresponds to the inner diameter of the pan? Or even better: Why are the lids for pans not always displayed or (best of all) sold at the same time?

    Induction wok with round bottom

Does anyone know which induction wok pans have a rounded bottom? A rounded shape allows you to fry in the bottom part of the pan with very little oil before adding the rest of the ingredients. However, most woks I have seen have a flat bottom, which results in more oil and poorer heat retention. I hope I have made myself clear and that someone can help me.

    Tako-yaki pan

What about a tako-yaki pan? Or maybe a porridge pan or an eye pan? I would really like to buy a trustworthy tako-yaki pan from Galaxus.

Diameter of pan base as search criterion?

Hello dear Galaxus team For frying pans (especially frying pans), could you also specify the base diameter in addition to the diameter, ideally even in the search criteria? With many frying pans, there is a clear difference (4-6 cm is not uncommon). If the bottom of the pan is significantly smaller than the cooker top, a lot of heat is lost and if it is larger, the pan can become deformed. Thank you, Hoppipolla

I think a filter for height and volume would be appropriate here.

    Diameter

Is the diameter of the bottom meant or the diameter of the top? If the latter, how do I know which one will fit on my cooker?

    Volume

I'm looking for a smaller pan with a handle, something like 0.5l. In the IKEA there are only bigger ones. Is there anything I can look for here?

    Frying pan with removable handle

I am looking for a good induction frying pan with a handle that can be removed and then placed in the oven. Preferably with a ceramic coating. The handle should hold well when it is attached and not wobble. Which pan would come into question, unfortunately you can't filter for pans where you can remove the handle.
