With the Breathe filter, the ioniser is permanently switched on and cannot be deactivated...so I hope I don't produce anything harmful :/

No it is not harmful, on the contrary.

Neutralises the dust particles, pollen, car exhaust and smoke contained in the room air. There is no information on whether this is harmful.
