It is a revision of the "Practice Grammar for Intermediate Level" by Fr. Clamer, E. G. Heilmann, and H. Röller, which was published in 2002 as an expanded version of the grammar of the same name by Fr. Clamer, H. Röller, and W. Welter in several editions, and has since become well established as "the Blue" among advanced German learners, especially in preparation for studies, both domestically and abroad. After nearly two decades, it seemed appropriate to undertake a revision.
