2. Leinpfad Vom Druidenstein zum Hunnenring

The Celts are mighty "in" these days. Historical novels and non-fiction books, fantasy films and the presentation of Celtic finds in large museums and opulent exhibitions have revived the memory of that unique European culture of the Iron Age. Their cultural stage of the Iron Age, emerging from Bronze Age roots around 800 B.C. and characterised by brilliant handicrafts, left behind a wealth of subtle traces. This book can lift the often dramaturgically exaggerated representations of the Celtic past of Central Europe in literature and films to a realistic level. And it repeatedly becomes apparent that the former reality was fantastic enough: the enormous achievements in the construction of the stone mountain fortifications alone required such a logistics and command hierarchy, which today.

3. Leinpfad Urbach:Worms zum Verlieben

Worms is overflowing with history. The Nibelung saga takes place here. The mighty imperial cathedral is enthroned here. This is where Luther refused to recant in 1521. But few people know how and where Luther has something to say in Worms today. Or what is ancient about the cathedral and what is brand new. What Kriemhild's rose garden or the ultra-modern cloister in the museum are all about. Where you can find freshly roasted coffee and a weekly Mediterranean market in winter. Where you live wall to wall with the city wall. Where you can enjoy good wine in a former synagogue. Where nostalgia and youth culture come together or where romantic weddings take place. Regina Urbach knows all the hidden gems of shops, enchanted parks and courtyards as far as Ibersheim, Pfeddersheim or Herrnsheim. She takes you to the places where even Worms residents fall in love with their city all over again: Let yourself be seduced!

4. Leinpfad Trier zu Fuss

In autumn 2009, the first edition of "Trier on Foot" was published by Leinpfad Verlag. Since then, we have sold over 4,000 copies. This is reason enough for us to plan a second edition. The two authors, Verona Kerl and Roland Morgen, have reviewed all the information boxes, event suggestions, and dining tips, replacing or updating them as necessary. They have updated photos and maps, as the main post office is no longer located at Kornmarkt and the bus numbers have changed. Additionally, they have developed three new tours: an architecture tour that leads to significant architectural monuments, a hike through the wild forest to Markusberg, and a tour particularly interesting for photographers, showcasing the sunny sides of the attractions in the city center. This tour answers the question: At what time of day is the best highlight to photograph from which location?.

5. Leinpfad Das Pfälzer Kartoffel-Buch

Potato cultivation has been documented in the Palatinate since 1665 - no wonder that there are potato recipes la Mass la Meng here! With 60 recipes, Gina Greifenstein presents the whole range of potatoes. The first chapter includes recipes from the pot with the famous "Hoorische" (potato dumplings half and half), but also boiled potato dumplings, soups, differently seasoned purees or gnocchi. In the chapter from the oven there are stuffed potatoes, baked potatoes, casseroles, but also a potato lasagne and pizza. Gina Greifenstein serves three different buffers from the pan as well as potato-pumpkin rösti and eight different salads and two vinaigrettes from the bowl. Can potatoes also be sweet? Oh, yeah! She proves this with ten recipes: for example with a cake with plum puree or with a tender potato cream brulée. With his R.

7. Leinpfad Noch mehr Pfälzer Tapas

The Saumagen has learned Spanish! Tapas and the Palatinate don’t belong together? Not at all! Gina Greifenstein has already proven this with her first tapas cookbook "Pfälzer Tapas." With over 60 new recipes, she adds even more. Traditional Palatinate ingredients like Saumagen, Handkäs, chestnuts, or liver sausage are presented in a way that might seem quite Spanish to some... For instance, as Handkäs with olive vinaigrette, as fried Saumagen patties with paprika-horseradish dip, as Palatinate bruschetta, or even as mini liver dumplings with herb mustard. Divided into six chapters - tapas with cheese, with meat and sausage, with vegetables and mushrooms, with fish, with bread and more, and with sugar - the recipes showcase the full variety of Palatinate tapas: from simple to sophisticated, from down-to-earth to innovative. Be surprised by creative salads that are also true quick recipes, and by four variations of Flammkuchen that bring together the best of the Palatinate. Let yourself be inspired by our seasonal plates: we offer suggestions for seasonal tapas plates with three recipes each for spring, summer, autumn, and winter. And discover what all the recipes have in common: these delicious little treats are a promise of good cheer and an invitation to enjoy!.

9. Leinpfad Kunstreiseführer Rheinhessen

Rheinhessen lies to the left of the Rhine, i.e. not in Hesse, but in Rhineland-Palatinate, more precisely between the Rhineland and the Palatinate. While the Rhineland was Prussian in the 19th century and the Palatinate was Bavarian, the hilly region in the Rhine bend between Worms, Mainz and Bingen belonged to Hesse until 1945 - hence the name Rheinhessen. Volker Gallé's art travel guide to Rheinhessen is an indispensable guide for tourists and a reference work for "Rhoihesse" to get to know their homeland better. It goes into the history of the landscape, art and culture, presents the art monuments, outlines nature and familiarises readers with customs. Tours of Mainz, Worms, Bingen, Alzey and Oppenheim enable day and weekend tourists to plan their holidays quickly. All the communities are presented with their characteristic features. A detailed service section offers a multitude of tips on leisure activities.
