The world into which the Corona pandemic broke was not intact, whole, or safe. Even before, normality was in crisis. He outlines a politics that aims not just to repair but to prevent the problems and losses of progress from arising in the first place. For, as Habeck states: If we want to counteract the erosion of democracy, the loss of trust in politics, the disintegration of Europe, and the climate crisis, we can do so. We just have to choose to do it.
