Margarete I. Ersen-Rasch's "Turkish for Advanced Learners" is aimed at Turkish learners with a solid foundation who are familiar with morphology and have already dealt with subordinate clauses. It corresponds to levels B1 to C1/C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference. The practice grammar emphasizes word order and information structure, the use of Turkish tenses, the rendering of German modal verbs, a detailed description of causative, passive, and reflexive forms, as well as relative, subject, and complement clauses, the description of adverbial clauses, and suffix and sentence element determination. In addition to grammatical explanations, there are numerous authentic text examples with translations, including texts containing subordinate clauses starting from chapter 1. Some include vocabulary and translation aids, while others do not.
