SRF bi de Lüt – Landfrauenküche

The "Landfrauenküche" ("Countrywomen's Kitchen") program on "SRF bi de Lüt" is one of the most popular series on Swiss television. Every year since 2007, it has featured seven countrywomen from different regions of Switzerland, giving an insight into their varied, usually packed daily lives with home, farm and family, and presenting their cuisine. Each cooks a three-course menu with appetizer, main course and dessert as part of a cooking competition, which is tasted and judged by the other participants. This book contains the portraits and recipes of the 21 countrywomen from the most recent series of broadcasts from 2019 to 2021. A varied picture of rural Switzerland and 72 recipes that combine tradition with modernity, but always remain rooted in the local and local.
