Seine eigene Farbe

Everything in the world has its own color, except for the chameleon. This picture book by Leo Lionni, which is finally available again, shows how it finds its place in the world and becomes happy. Goldfish are red and elephants are gray. Parrots are green and pigs are pink. The chameleon would love to have its own color too. But it just can't manage it: on lemons, it is yellow. In heather, it is violet. And on the tiger, it is striped. However, the chameleon doesn't have to be sad for long. Because when it meets another chameleon, they decide to stay together. From that day on, they change their colors together. They both become green. And violet. And yellow. And they are happy - even without a completely unique color.
